We’re so excited you’ve chosen cheerleading as your fall sport! Cheerleading is fun, dynamic, and rewarding—but it also requires dedication and teamwork. Through this sport, athletes build lifelong skills like:

To create a successful, positive experience for everyone, we aim to strike the perfect balance between working hard and having fun. Please review the important guidelines below to help ensure a great season.

FOR PARENTS

Our goal is to coach with passion, commitment, and a spirit of fun! Your support and cooperation make all the difference.  Most communication will be sent via email and team apps (OTTOSport) from your smartphone. Please check your messages regularly for updates, practice changes, and other announcements.

SEASON DETAILS

Season Duration: August through mid-November

Team Eligibility: Grades K–8

League: Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Football League (EPYFL)

GAME & PRACTICE INFORMATION

Games are held on Saturdays or Sundays.

Practice schedules will be shared by coaches once registration is complete.

Arrive at least 1 hour before game time (or as directed by your coach).

Optional sideline practices will be held one day per week in mid-July at coaches’ request.

These are not mandatory, but highly recommended—especially for new cheerleaders!

ADDITIONAL EVENTS (Dates/Times TBD unless noted)

Cheerleaders will also participate in several exciting activities:

 Easton High School Cheerleading Clinic – August 11^th, 12^th, & 13^th (time TBD)

Easton High School Rec/Youth Showcase Competition – November 7 th (time TBD)

Additional local competitions may be added (advance notice will be provided)

Palmer Panthers Pep Rally

Palmer 5K Run – Saturday, August 15th (most likely 7:00 or 8:00 AM)

UNIFORMS & GEAR

All cheerleaders are required to purchase a sportswear package,

This includes game sneakers and performance/practice wear.

Pricing and order information will be emailed after registration.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Always wear proper practice/game attire and footwear.

Hair must be tied back neatly (preferably in a ponytail) for all games and practices.

We welcome and appreciate parent volunteers for concession stands,

Online sign-up links will be shared via email.

PTP BOOSTER CLUB (Palmer Township Panthers)

If you are interested in volunteering with your fellow cheer parents and want to have a hand in helping us with the following events below, please email us or see your athlete’s coach. Events we are looking to host – Bingo, Tricky Tray, 50/50 raffles and more.

Coach and team assignments will be sent prior to the first practice.

A team app link will be provided for easy access on your phone (OttoSport using the same username and password that you registered with).
